Iron chlorosis #877097

My maple was turning yellow last summer. On-line research identified the probable cause as iron chlorosis. Last fall I applied liquid iron according to the instructions on the container. Repeated this treatment again this spring. The tree is now much more green. My question is: how much should the tree be treated and for how long? The container gives no guidance on this. Thanks for your advice.
