Curled leaves on tomato plants #877091

Asked July 13, 2024, 1:33 PM EDT

Hello My tomato plants and, to a lesser extent, my pepper plants have a condition where the leaves are curling up into tight balls. They also are doing very little growing. I thought part of the problem may be lack of calcium in the soil. I pulverized drywall and worked it into the soil around the plants. Does not seem to have made any difference??? Other vegetables such as beans and zucchini are growing. Any thoughts or recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Expert Response

Hi, thanks for the question.

Curled leaves can be an indication of several issues. Would it be possible to get a well-focused picture with good resolution?  It would really help in determining the problem.

I look forward to your response.
