Native plant identification #877088

Hello - I participated in the Oakland County Native Plant Event and was lucky enough to get an average garden kit. The plants were labeled as Culver's root, new england aster, stiff goldenrod and nodding onion. In the picture I planted the asters in the back, the goldenrod in the middle, the onions in front and the culvers root elsewhere. In the second photo it looks like I had a bonus plant in one of my asters. Trying to identify it, it looks like a goldenrod, so I'm wondering what the plant in the third photo is then. I looked up the other possible plants for the average kit but nothing seemed to fit. Thought I'd try to figure it out before waiting a couple years for it to bloom. Thanks!

Doreen,
Oh, yes it does! I'll have to wait and see what my "bonus plant" turns out to be :)
Thank you!
