Hi,
Make sure to feel the soil before watering. It should be drying out some before supplying water again. You can refer to our Watering Trees and Shrubs page for guidance.
It looks like the leaves are just scorched from the heat or sun. They could have been kept in the shade at the nursery or garden center so they are just getting some 'sunburn' adjusting.
Do you know if the root balls were loosened at planting? maybe they aren't getting enough water if the roots are stuck in a circular pot form still. Was the growing area amended with compost or does it have good soil conditions? Nursery plants in containers tend to have loose growing media so when they are transferred into the ground they can actually dry out faster since the soil immediately surround the roots is loose compared to existing clay soil (if it is more clay based) in the garden bed.
If they were balled and burlap plants was the string or twine removed and the burlap?
Are they planted at the appropriate height and not buried in mulch too deeply?
All of these factors could contribute to stress so just making sure you are watering and mitigating any further stress symptoms will help the plants to adjust to their new environment.
The leaves won't return to green but as long as the entire plant isn't turning brown they will eventually fall off and new growth should be healthy and green.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or anything changes in the health of the plant that causes concern.

you're welcome. You can still gently dig them and make sure the roots aren't wrapping around in a circular pattern causing girdling roots. You can dig and gently tease out the roots to loosen them and replant. It would be best to wait until it isn't so hot and do so on a cloudy day early in the morning or in the evening after the main heat of the day.
