Where're my Bees at? #877048
Asked July 12, 2024, 10:41 PM EDT
I'm a member of a number of native plants groups on Facebook and it seems like my observations are similar...there is less bee activity in our gardens this year.
Obviously has been wetter than previous...can someone in your organization explain why there is less or give hope and reassurance that the bees are okay?
Thanks!

Populations of pollinators vary from year to year. Also, the weather influences the number you actually see. I have not heard from my cohorts that bees are more seriously in trouble this year. Take hope in the fact that more and more people are planting bee lawns and using less pesticides.
