Spring Snow Crabapple leaf issues? #876936

Hello! We live in Medina, MN and planted three Spring Snow Crabapple last fall. They all seem to have an issue with their leaves as seen in the photo. Any idea what we might be able to do? They flowered as expected and have had a lot of rain this season. Thank you!

An apple leaf disease called scab is very prevalent this year because conditions have been favorable for its development. Unfortunately, Spring Snow is very susceptible to this disease.

Careful leaf cleanup may reduce, but it will not prevent or eliminate future infection.
Fortunately, ornamental crabapples affected by scab usually recover and bloom normally the following spring.
