Red headed or banded ash borer #876889

Do we need to report if we have seen a red-headed or banded ash borer in Michigan?

Red headed ash borer is native to MI and does not need to be reported to any regulatory agency. They are cool looking insects and won't usually down an ash or other tree, unless it is already struggling due to another cause.
