Lantern bugs #876844

I have seen multiple lantern nymphs in my yard in Ellicott city. Sm I supposed to reach out to you at someone else regarding this?

You could report them (along with a photo) to the Maryland Department of Agriculture, as they are the agency collecting reports of sightings. (They do already know the insect is present in most of Maryland, but submission data could still help them track their rate of maturation into adulthood.)
