Two questions regarding spiders: 1) We’ve had an abundance of spiders this year (All kinds: small, large, short legs, long legs, etc.) around the outside of our house. Can you please recommend a pesticide we could use to spray outside, around the house? 2) Found these large, brown, fat bodied spiders hatching in a nest similar to a mud dauber (but larger) on top of the edge of our storm door. We’ve not seen this before and don’t recognize this type of spider. What are these?

Hello -
One spider that creates a dirt home is the wolf spider. I'm not sure if that is what you have there, but here is some information on them: https://www.canr.msu.edu/resources/wolf-spider/
The spiders in the first 2 photos look to me like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larinioides_sclopetarius.
Spiders are usually good citizens who eat other insects. They are not usually aggressive. However, if you are overrun with them, I suggest you look for sprays that contain chemicals that are stated in this article: https://entomology.ca.uky.edu/ef623
I hope this helps you.
