Cherry Blossom Yard Tree looking bad. Can it be saved? #876758

I have a cherry blossom tree that has one of 3 main branches that is now dead and growing fungi. When it will be cut down, the last 2 branches are very wide apart. I am concerned and honestly don't know what to do with it, but, of course, I love the blossoms every spring.

I think the best thing for you to do is to call an arborist to come out and look at your tree. It’s very hard to diagnose your problem from pictures or from a description. Arborist are tree specialists and they can come out and look at your tree and tell you what is wrong. Thanks for your question.
