Hello, this is our second season with young Apple trees and this year we noticed on our kindercrisp we have dimples forming on the exterior. We sprayed for apple rust in the spring and haven’t done anything else since. What is this and is there anything that can be done this season. If not what measures can we take next growing season?
Thanks!

It’s hard to tell for certain from photos but you may have apple maggaots.
You should monitor for them.
Be sure to do good clean up in the fall. The articles below will help you make a plan for next year.
