I have this growing all over my yard. I am guessing it's tree spouts since it's pretty wood. They are all over and very hard to remove at the base. Any recommendations?
I have also attached another picture of a week that is very common in my backyard and having trouble identifying.

The first photo could depict a mulberry seedling. Do you have mulberry trees nearby? We can't identify the second photo. If you can, cut the leaves and stems and place on a white sheet of paper, take a photo and send it to us. We can better able determine what this is if you do that.
