I have mushrooms growing amongst my lilies. (No, I'm not thinking of eating them) A few of them have gotten really big--up to 9 inches in diameter. I am wondering if I should pick them and discard them, or just leave them alone? Maybe it doesn't matter; just wondering if it's better to get rid of them so they don't spread.

Mushrooms are having a good year. Just knock them over as they show up. You can let them dissolve there or toss them in the garbage.
