My swamp white oak is four years old and in many ways it seems generally healthy. But I am concerned about a number of leaves turning brown. See enclosed pictures. Should I be concerned? If this is a disease I would appreciate advice. Thank-you!

Expert Response
We can't be sure what's affecting the tree by viewing the photos. However, based upon what we can see, we think the damage may have been caused by a leaf disease call anthracnose.
Oak anthracnose usually doesn't threaten tree health and no control is needed.
