These look like they are going through transplant shock or potentially have failed to establish. You can try to prune out the dead black branches and be sure to be watering frequently. Is there a roof overhang that could be blocking from any water? It has been very dry and hot so despite the rainy spring they will still need to be checked for water every few days with our heat and drought.
Was the root ball loosened at planting? Were any soil amendments used? How often are you watering?
You can review our Watering Trees and Shrubs page for more guidance. You want the soil to dry slightly in between watering.
If the plants that have a lot of black and dead leaves and branches don't show any new growth on the stems after pruning, and with regular watering, you may need to replace them.
