New Blueberry Operation Review #876557

Good evening!
I've recently installed slightly over four hundred new blueberry plants with the end goal of making a pick-your-own blueberry business in Orange County. As with any agricultural ventures, it's been met with s great deal of success, along with some issues.
A confluence of scheduling issues led to a late planting in May, which has affected the plants' general ability to tolerate this heatwave we've been subject to. Coupled with some irrigation issues that have escaped the problem solving power of myself and others, this has led to a small amount of death and replanting.
I'm wondering if it's possible to invite an Extension member out to the farm to simply lay a professional gaze on it. My jump from home gardening to this scale relied heavily on research put forth by the Extension. I find it likely that I could further greatly benefit from the expertise of its members in person. They may see things that my eyes are simply blind to.
If this is at all a possibility, the Extension office as a whole has an open invitation to the property, and I look forward to hearing back from you as to how best this can be arranged!
All the best regards,

I certainly would love to come to your farm.
Did you conduct a soil sample before planting and make adjustments to the soil pH?

The soil test ID is FY22-SL035655
The sample ID area is MEADO. Thankfully I misremembered and the native soil clocks in at a pH of 5.1.
I'll see you tomorrow!
All the best,
Daniel Kosciusko

It is time to resample your blueberries.
I'll bring some boxes this morning and submission form.
