Black worms #876534

every year we get black worms about an inch long & very thin in our pole barn and house. any idea where they come from? is it from a tree,we have woods by us... i use raid outside sliding doors. garage doors & kitchen doors. it seems to kill them. just want to get rid of the source. thank you

These millipedes commonly occur in wetter areas where there is organic matter. They live in the ground and feed on decaying plants and other materials in the soil. There's no risk to having them around the home, and it's going to be hard and unnecessary to eradicate as they live beneath the soil.
