Hard to say exactly from that photo, were there any thorns on this plant? It might be a type of bramble.
The person who dropped it off has provided me another image to try and help identify it. They're mostly concerned on whether or not it is poison ivy.

Sorry, I should have said it is definitely not poison ivy and is most likely a type of bramble.
