Black ants on Japanese Forest Grass #876383

Asked July 08, 2024, 4:32 PM EDT

We have had Japanese Forest Grass for in our garden for several years. Every spring it blooms and every summer black ants show up crawling on this beautiful plant. We are wondering if there is anything we can do to get rid of them. Thank you for considering my question

I haven't found any information indicating that ants are a problem for this plant.  You can put out ant bait granules around the base of your plant.  They are designed for the workers to take them back to the nest.
