I have a timber buyer who offered to purchase some of my trees. He tells me they are mostly white and red oak, and offered around $2600 for close to 90 trees. This seems low to me and I would like any input into determining if this is a fair offer. He will be taking the trees down and hauling them away, but the tops he will leave. They are mature, and quite large.
