Mulberry tree #876274

Asked July 08, 2024, 8:38 AM EDT

Hello, I’ve noticed some wilting leaves on my mulberry tree. Can you help me know if this is diseased or with all the rain is it just getting too much water?

Expert Response

It can well be due to the excessive rain we've been experiencing, as both over- and under-watering can cause mulberry tree leaves to wilt.  Other possible causes are chemical spray, insect pests or disease.  Of course, don't water your tree and watch it carefully for disease.  If the rain tapers off, your mulberry may do much better.
