Hi Steve- I'll definitely need more information and preferably pictures of the leaf roller problem. What kind of fruit tree? What is in the rolled leaves? Insects? Nothing? What have you tried so far? This all makes a difference to a recommendation.
I look forward to hearing from you and seeing pictures.

thank you for your response. it is a plum tree, planted about 18 month ago. today I sprayed it with Monterey Horticultural oil. it looks like there are very small insects inside some of the curled leaves. most of the attacked leaves are the new growth. I will attach some pictures. thanks for your help. steve
Hi Steve and thanks for the pictures of the rolled leaves on your plum tree. There might be several things going on, since I see what looks like scrapings between veins, leaf rolling and fungal spots. If the problems only seem to be on the new leaves, this might be a sign that the tree is stressed, so be sure and give it water at the drip line every week this summer.
Don't fertilize it, as too much nitrogen can stress a fruit tree. Be sure and pick up fallen leaves or fruits as the summer goes on and hopefully the treatment you gave it will take care of the critters causing the leaf rolling.
Good job noticing the problem before it got too serious.
