Apple tree spray #876114

Asked July 06, 2024, 2:11 PM EDT

I have a zestar and honeycrip, both 5 years old. The honeycrisp has about a dozen apples, and the zestar maybe 3 dozen. They both have multiple apples with rotten looking spots on them. From what I've read, I don't think it's scab, and I have used a fungicide spray, but the concentrate is now 4 years old and may be useless. I'm resigned to bad fruit this year. My real question is what is an all purpose broad spectrum spray that gives the best chance of high quality fruit?

It is critical to identify the cause of the problem before considering what spray to use.  Your pictures suggest coddling moth. It’s also possible to have more than one problem. Compare what you are seeing with the following websites.
