Thanks for your question.   This could be damage from a sawfly or leaf miner as it appears that the upper leaf surface has been eaten. It might also be some type of fungal infection.    It looks like newer leaves are unaffected.

Did the spots on the leaves start out light in color and then turn brown/orange?  Can you see any evidence of insects? Eggs? Potential fungal spores on underside of leaves?
