In door violet plant #875967

Asked July 05, 2024, 8:43 AM EDT

I have been asked to care for an indoor 4" violet plant. It has direct south sunlight and I have watered through the tray, not directly in the dirt, it only when the dirt is dry, about every 2 weeks. The violet's leaves are yellowing and does not look so happy. What should I do to help the Violet survive? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you for your help! Stacey

Over or under watering can cause this. Since you haven’t done either, it is most likely too much sun.  Windows, especially on hot days can deliver too much sun.  A third contributing factor can be lack of fertilizer. The following websites may be helpful.
