Oh dear, they do not look good and I'm afraid it's not a hopeful prognosis for them. They appear to be full of some kind of borer holes and also have some fungal issue which is causing leaf drop. If they are older crabapples they are susceptible to many fungal diseases.
What is most alarming is the loss of leaves this early in the season. In my opinion, I don't think they will live more than a couple of years. The trees are so stressed at this point and I'm sure they can't photosynthesize enough to sustain the tree. I'm not an arborist, they are the tree experts, this is just my opinion.

I would replace those trees this fall. I suggest a variety of trees so they are not susceptible to the same problems.
