Getting rid of fire ants #875781

Asked July 03, 2024, 10:47 AM EDT

Hi, I bought my house last summer and, once I killed the ivy on a row of fir trees in my backyard, I discovered a large nest of fire ants living at the base of one of the trees. How can I kill the ants safely and effectively? So far, I have tried vinegar and water, coffee grounds, and boiling water. None has worked. Please advise. Thank you!

You might want to consider hiring a professional pest control company to do this.  Good luck!
