Hello! I was wondering if you guys could possibly help me identify this Insect found in oxford Oakland county Michigan? It's the first i have seen and it's about 3 inches long. Sorry some of the pictures are blurry... it's 1:51 am and I didn't want toget too close to the insect because it looks like it has huge pintchers. Thanks in advance! Go MSU!

This is a dobsonfly. Their larvae live in water, and they are normal to encounter.
