Saving a Swiss Cheese plant #875745

Asked July 02, 2024, 9:34 PM EDT

Could you tell me about this plant? Are the leaves supposed to curl? Should I stake it? Should I cut it back? Any information would be helpful. Thank you

Expert Response

The appearance of the plant and the soil makes me wonder if the potting soil is draining properly. Many indoor plant issues are caused by excessive watering or poor drainage. If this pot does not have drainage holes, I would recommend switching to a different pot. If the potting soil is older, you should also consider using new potting soil, as it breaks down over time and begins to drain poorly. You'll also want to avoid sudden light changes when bringing plants indoors/outdoors. This can cause burning on the plants.
