What is eating on my canadian serviceberry?

Thanks for reaching out to ask extension. Congratulations, it looks like you have leafcutter bees. I'll attach a quick reference sheet here, but ultimately these bees are good insects to have around. These native bees are great pollinators for other plants in you neighborhood and usually the damage they do to plants is cosmetic and will not impact their long term health. They are also very calm, so you don't need to be very concerned about stings.
