Something is nibbling at my pot plant. It's growing outdoors. Usually find caterpillars but haven't seen any yet. Could this be the culprit?

Something is nibbling at my pot plant. It's growing outdoors. Usually find caterpillars but haven't seen any yet. Could this be the culprit?

Hi and thanks for your picture of the bug that's "eating your plants." Actually, this an assassin bug instar and it is eating the bugs that are eating your plants as it is a voracious predator. Keep looking for the culprits gnawing on your leaves, but let this little guy do its work and they might be gone before you know it!
