Fruit trees #875396

Asked June 30, 2024, 7:18 PM EDT

We recently moved into a new house and it appears that there is a plum and possibly a peach tree. It doesn't look like either has had much pruning in a long time. Could you please tell me what type of plum this is and send links to any information about care and maintenance? water requirements ect ...

Thank you!

Dear Alison,

Welcome to Colorado. Thank your question and photos. To answer your questions. One, your plum is a pear tree and you are correct the other is a Peach. As for the type of variety, no this we cannot answer. Perhaps the previous owners left some landscape plans with the names?

I can however give send you some fact sheets for the maintenance and care of your fruit trees.
