What are these beetles and should I be concerned? #875325

I have six plum trees all clustered together. One of the six is covered with these beetles, while the rest seem to have none. There's also a cucumber magnolia that's covered with them. They are about the size of a sesame seed and scurry around on the leaves, but they don't seem to be eating them. Thanks, Pat Perry

Hi Pat,

One of the pictures will not open and the other is a bit too far away. Are you able to get closer pics? We need to ask the bug expert but they will need something better to make a determination.
