I am in the process of painting the cedar trim boards on the exterior of my stucco house. Can you tell me what bugs, (I see some tiny ones) are eating the cedar boards beneath the paint here in ohio? Is there anything that can be done about them? Paint and/or replace the boards?

I do not know off hand what bugs could be causing your concerns. For bug ID, I suggest you contact our OSU Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic to see about submitting a sample to them to identify.
