The strawberry plants are in second year first bearing year, and are everbearing.
Started off spring strong and have been fertilized and watered 3 times a week by soaker house.
They are planted in a raised bed with good soil, mulched with bark chips and get full sun .
First of June a few leaves started turning green/yellow and this trend is continuing.
Some plants are bearing fairly well others the fruit is stunted.
Overall the flavor of these berries is some what disappointing.
Any suggestion on how to improve the health of these plants is appreciated

Dear Mr. Pomeroy,
Thank you for your email along with your pictures of your everbearing strawberries. You mentioned that your leaves are starting to yellow. You also stated that along with fertilizing that you are watering 3 times a week. May I inquire how long you are watering on these days?
I ask because you may be watering too much. Strawberry plants do like water, but they benefit from a few deep watering versus many waterings. When watered too much they leaves can turn yellow.
Below is a CSU fact sheet for Everbearing Strawberries. Please read through. As for the size and taste that could be the variety of everbearing strawberry chosen.
