Is there a app you would recommend for plant identification for iPhone and Android?

You are in luck! Dr. Erin Hill at MSU updates an article on plant ID apps regularly. She and her students evaluate the accuracy of common apps and then write up the results.

I can't make any recommendations, but you can read the article and see which apps were rated highest and make your own choice.
