Good Morning,
Your tree looks like it is suffering from chlorosis. I suggest you get a soiltest to determine what nutrients you may need. The most reliable way to determine current soil nutrient availability and pH levels is to order an MSUE home lawn & garden soil test mailer.
It isn't fall yet, so why are my tree's leaves yellow? - MSU Extension
This appears to be anthracnose, a fungal disease that appears early in the season when there are frequent rains. You can rake the leaves and bag them to reduce the pathogen available but there is no need for further action. Here is a good article that discusses this common disease: https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/maple_leaf_blister_and_anthracnose_two_foliar_diseases_that_can_appear_on_s
You can send in a sample for a small fee to get a firm diagnosis.
Submit Samples - Plant & Pest Diagnostics (msu.edu)
Another option is to have an arborist come out and assess your tree. Find certified arborists by searching under the “Find an arborist” tab, and using your zip code here—-www.treesaregood.org
I hope this helps. Thanks for using our service.
