My backyard is very shady and the soil is poor and sandy. Nothing grows well at all but weeds. I would like to plant a low maintenance ground cover preferably grass like that could give me some greeenery and cut down on the dirt and sand. The tree cover is a lot of red pines, some white pines, maples and lindens. Can you recommend something to plant next spring or fall?
