Seeding Fertilizer for Lawns #874817

Asked June 26, 2024, 2:25 PM EDT

Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for the type of fertilizer that should be applied when first seeding a lawn; specifically what ration of NKP should be provided. Google shows mixed results with some sources recommending a high Phosphorous while others recommending a more balanced fertilizer. This fertilizer would be placed along with seed, in new topsoil with a ph Range between 5.5 - 7.0. The seed would be a mix of Kentucky bluegrass, red fescue, and perennial ryegrass. Thank You
