Where can I buy a Burr Oak from a reputable seller in Oregon? #874775

Hi David,
I normally work with native trees and refer folks to the below linked native tree seedling sources document. I am unsure of sources for Burr Oak in our area and am unfortunately unable to recommend specific vendors. Let me ask around and see if anyone has any ideas.

I have two ideas:
1. Friends of Trees plants Burr Oak in some areas. Contact your local Friends of Trees office to see if they have any seedlings or know where to acquire them.

2. You could locate a planted Burr Oak, collect acorns, and sprout them into seedlings. Oaks root quite easily from acorns (look for ones without holes in them signifying larvae inside). A quick search shows that there are a couple known planted Burr Oak in Portland and one on OSU campus in Corvallis. See info on their locations at these links:
