Gypsy Mini Peppers #874721

Asked June 25, 2024, 9:40 PM EDT

How do I know when the “Gypsy” variety of mini peppers are ready to harvest. They are green right now….do I leave them on the plant until they turn color? Thank you for your help

Expert Response

Good Morning,

Thank you for contacting the U of M Extension Service.

My first thought is to read the label that came with the plant. You could possibly look up the name through the grower on the label. If you grew them from seed, please refer to the seed packet for days to maturity.

I was unable to find information on this type of pepper through the Extension Service.

Here is some information I found: https://www.gardenary.com/blog/3-signs-your-peppers-are-ripe-and-ready-to-be-harvested

Good Luck!
