I suspect the brown spots on my boxwoods are the boxwood blight but need to know for sure. How can I have them analyzed? I have 50+ in my yard at different ages so I am deeply concerned.

Hello Gail,
I don’t see the characteristic blackening of stems that are usually present. However, you are right to have this looked at by professionals.
You can email pictures to <personal data hidden> That is the MSU Plant and Pest Diagnostic lab. The professional diagnostician will give you an opinion. This is a free service.
If they decide they need a sample branch and leaves they will let you know. There is a modest fee for submitting samples. The form, instructions and address are on their website.(do not send samples in on Friday or just before a holiday, or the samples will not be fresh when they return to work).
