Good Afternoon,
Is it best to apply quinclorac to the leaves of actively growing bindweed? Or could I cut the bindweed close to the soil and then apply a small amount of quinclorac to the cut stem of the bindweed?
Thank you,

Expert Response
Hi Brian,
It's best to apply any herbicide to actively growing plant parts (leaves), so that they metabolize the chemical and take it to the root.
