Hi there, I have some bugs on my cucumber, yellow squash and zucchini plants, I have sprayed with neem oil and soap so far. What are these bugs that are eating my plants?

Hello George

You have a heavy population of aphids in your pictures.

Here are some management options-

I see some “mummies” and cocoons of aphid predators on the leaves. But, they are not keeping up with the population. Continue your monitoring and use of neem, insecticidal soap and horticultural oil with low impact to beneficials. Or select one of the chemical insecticides labeled for aphid control, and labeled for use on your crop.

For anything applied to your crops, please read and follow all directions and precautions. Only use products labeled for use on your edible crop.
