Thank you for your question to Extension. As I'm sure you're aware, Calamondin tree is an orange tree with tart fruit. I'm sure they're very good for sauces and seasonings. Calamondin is grown in Zones 9-11, which are tropical locations and will not survive a Minnesota winter. I'm not sure where you're located, but the Minneapolis/St. Paul area is in Zone 4. Calamondin tree can be grown in a container and placed in a sunny window in the winter and moved outside in the summer on a deck. If you Google "Calamondin Tree" you will find many sources to purchase it, but I would caution you to use a reputable nursery or store. Extension does not recommend specific nurseries, but I found your plant at Gurney's where they will mail it to you in spring and fall. Here is the link:

Good luck!
