Expert Response
White clover will bloom May - July and sometimes into August and could possibly bloom later if seeded towards the end of Spring. Ladino is a variety of white clover native to Europe and is a perennial.
It is an annual but crimson clover can survive winter in Zone 6 if not cut back and blooms slightly after white clover in mid June - July. I have crimson clover in my garden that was seeded in early April and is about to finish blooming.
Red clover blooms at a similar time to crimson. It is a biennial.
Yellow sweet clover is a biennial that will flower in year 2, if planted from seed. It can bloom from late May - Sep.
The exact times of bloom depend on temperatures, rainfall, and amount of sunlight.
