Infestation in tree #874414

I have what I think are mealyworks in the tree in my front yard - I need help to verify and know what to do to treat to get rid of

Those do look like the wooly apple aphid, a pest which we often see in years of rapid growth. That said, this issue can resolve itself as well if you do nothing, and they are unlikely to damage the tree. Please let me know if you have additional questions.
