Vitex yellow leaves #874371

Asked June 24, 2024, 7:28 AM EDT

Hello, Noticed the yellowing and spotting leaves of the Vitex this morning. Appears to be a mix of new and older leaves. They are not uniformly yellow, watering has increased during the heat, but allowed to dry out in between waterings and the roots do not feel soggy.

Expert Response

Hello!

The first possibility is that the plant is getting too much water.  This will drain out the nutrients that the plant needs.  If it is an established plant they can be very drought tolerant.
