Hi I was wondering someone can comment little to no vegetable growth this year, in particular concerning eggplants and swiss chard. Both eggplants and swiss chard are planted in 1 year old raised beds. This is the second year planting in these raised beds. Both vegetables were planted last year and grew well. The eggplants were started from seedlings purchased from a nursery and the chard was self seeded from last year's crop. The eggplants were planted roughly mid-May, after Mother's day.
