What are these raised spots on the zucchini blossom?

It's difficult to identify what's on the blossom by viewing the photo.
However, based upon what we can see, we'd guess the raised spots are insect eggs of some kind.
The spots shown resemble squash bug eggs, but they seem too small for that. Still, judging relative size via photos is tricky.
